Do I really not need an appointment?
That is right. Just show up during our open hours and we will see your pet. We do recommend saving your spot online through WaitWell before you arrive, which lets you wait at home or nearby instead of sitting in the clinic. But if you prefer to just walk in, you are welcome to do that too.
How long will I wait?
Wait times vary depending on how busy we are. Saving your spot online through WaitWell is the best way to minimize your time in the clinic. It lets you see where you are in the queue and come in when it is your turn. Patients are also triaged by urgency, so more critical cases may be seen first.
Do you see both dogs and cats?
Yes, we see both dogs and cats for walk-in care. All of our services are available to both species. If you have questions about your specific pet before coming in, give us a call at (727) 390-0333.
What is the difference between you and an emergency vet?
Emergency hospitals are designed for life-threatening situations like severe trauma, respiratory failure, or sudden collapse. We handle urgent but non-critical care — the kind of visit where your pet is clearly not well, but not in immediate danger. We are faster and significantly more affordable for those situations than an ER. If your pet is in a life-threatening emergency, please go straight to an emergency hospital.
Can I drop off my pet instead of waiting?
Yes. If you need to keep moving, our drop-off service lets you leave your pet with us and come back when they are ready. We will call or text you when the visit is complete. Your pet can also stay with us for the remainder of our business hours if you are not quite ready to pick up yet.
Do you offer vaccinations as a walk-in?
Yes, vaccinations are available on a walk-in basis. Core vaccines, lifestyle vaccines, and annual boosters can all be handled during a same-day visit. No scheduling required.
